Published: 28 Jul 2008:Amadeus has expanded its partnership with SAP to market an enhanced travel management and expense solution for corporations.
Made up of the travel expense management functionality in the SAP Travel Management application and Amadeus eTravel Management, this approach responds to customer demand for open, modular travel management solutions that can work with their existing chosen expense systems rather than alternative stand-alone platforms, according to the two companies.
This solution is available now and will be marketed by both companies to corporations worldwide, including existing customers of SAP Travel Management.
Claude Giafferri, vice president - Travel Office Products and Solutions of Amadeus, said, "Companies are increasingly demanding seamless collaboration between finance, HR and travel management platforms as a means of improving travel processes and increasing workflow efficiency. Through our partnership with SAP, we are now delivering a powerful offering that meets these demands and avoids companies having to go through the pain of installing and migrating to new systems."
